The global transformation of the automotive industry is in progress, consequently highly automated and connected vehicles, electronic vehicles, intelligent systems will be the core elements of tomorrow’s transport sector. In the world of mobility the future has begun, within which the technologies of the automotive, the information and the communication industries will play a significant role, causing fundamental economic and social changes.
In order to support the above mentioned processes, together with the objectives of the transport policy, the Mobility Platform has come to live, at the initiative of the Hungarian Government, under the direction of the Institute for Transport Sciences (KTI). As a professional-scientific forum the task of the platform is to synchronize the work of the different actors (governmental bodies, industry, universities and education, research and development) in the field of tomorrow’s mobility. The Mobility Platform is a professional cooperation, in regard to connected, automated and electronic vehicles; moreover, in the area of the different dimensions of social, economic, educational and legal connections of the intelligent transport systems, with the primary objective of continuously enhancing transport security and ensuring sustainable development.
